제주도를 여러 번 방문하다 보면 자연스럽게 현지인들이 자주 찾는 식당을 찾게 됩니다.
When you visit Jeju many times, you naturally start looking for restaurants that locals frequent.

이번 여행에서 저희 가족이 찾은 곳은 바로 서귀포 남호식당입니다.
On this trip, my family visited Namho Sikdang in Seogwipo.

웨이팅이 있는 이유

주말 저녁 시간에 도착했는데 역시 웨이팅이 있었습니다.
We arrived during weekend dinner time, and as expected, there was a waiting line.

화려한 관광 식당은 아니지만, 손님으로 가득 차 있었습니다.
It’s not a fancy tourist restaurant, but it was full of customers.

이것만으로도 이미 믿음이 갔습니다.
That alone gave us confidence.

합리적인 가격

소주와 맥주가 단돈 3,000원, 그것도 주말 기준입니다.
Soju and beer are only 3,000 KRW, even on weekends.

메뉴 가격도 부담이 적습니다.
The meat prices are also affordable:

특별한 불판

서귀포 남호식당 불판

기본 상차림은 평범하지만, 불판이 독특했습니다.
The basic side dishes were ordinary, but the grill was unique.

돌판과 석쇠판 두 가지가 준비되어 있었습니다.
They provided both a stone grill and a mesh grill.

돌판에서 구운 고기는 육즙이 살아있고 더 맛있었습니다.
The stone grill kept the meat juicy and enhanced the flavor.

주문한 메뉴

저희 가족은 삼겹살, 목살, 그리고 생대패까지 주문했습니다.
Our family ordered pork belly, pork neck, and thin pork slices.

삼겹살은 고소하고 기름이 적당했습니다.

Pork belly was savory with just the right amount of fat.

서귀포 남호식당 목살

목살은 씹는 맛이 좋고 풍미가 진했습니다.

Pork neck had a nice chewy texture and rich flavor.

서귀포 남호식당 생대패

생대패는 얇아서 빨리 익고 담백했습니다.

Thin pork slices cooked quickly and tasted light but flavorful.

특별한 양념 없이도 고기의 질만으로 충분히 만족스러웠습니다.
Even without special seasoning, the quality of the pork was enough to impress us.

총평 – 재방문 의사 100%

서귀포 남호식당

남호식당은 긴 설명이 필요 없는 집입니다.
Namho Sikdang is a place that needs no long explanation.

가성비 좋은 가격, 질 좋은 고기, 현지인 손님 비율이 높은 진짜 맛집이었습니다.
Affordable prices, quality meat, and more locals than tourists – a true local restaurant.

저희 가족은 매우 만족했고, 다음 제주 여행에서도 반드시 재방문할 예정입니다.
My family was very satisfied, and we will definitely revisit on our next Jeju trip.
